IRB Requirements & Submission Process module now available on LENS!

The new ‘IRB Requirements & Submission Process’ module is now available on LENS (Accessible to NHG Health Staff)

This e-learning module was jointly developed by NHG Health and SingHealth to familiarise researchers with IRB requirements for preparing and submitting study applications to the NHG Health Domain Specific Review Board (DSRB) or SingHealth Centralised Institutional Review Board (CIRB) as applicable via the ECOS System.

Module Learning Objectives:

•        Evaluate research activities to determine IRB requirements and prepare appropriate pre-submission documentation.

•        Understand the roles and responsibilities of researchers and Institution.

•        Understand the IRB application process.

•        Understand the different IRB review categories and potential IRB review outcomes.

•        Manage post-approval monitoring and reporting requirements and study closure procedures.

•        NHG Health Staff may self-register to access the module on LENS
