Establishment
The Office of Human Research Protection Programme (OHRPP), under the Group Research & Innovation (GRI) in the National Healthcare Group (NHG), is dedicated to safeguarding the rights, safety, and well-being of research participants, and maintaining high standards in research ethics and governance in NHG.
Scope
The OHRPP ensures the ethical conduct of human research activities through rigorous ethics reviews, comprehensive oversight of human research activities, continuous researcher education and maintaining high standards through international accreditation.
In addition, OHRPP also engages in public outreach activities to promote awareness and understanding of participant rights in research.
This reflects NHG's commitment to maintaining high standards in research ethics and governance to support the ethical and effective conduct of research.
