Revised DSRB Review Fees For Industry Sponsored Studies wef 1 April 2025

Dear Sponsors,

REVISED DSRB REVIEW FEES FOR INDUSTRY SPONSORED STUDIES (W.E.F 1 APRIL 2025)

We would like to notify you about the revised review fees for new research applications, which will take effect from 1st April 2025:

• Initial application review involving institution(s) from only one healthcare cluster: S$3,000

• Initial application review involving institution(s) from two healthcare clusters: S$4,000

• Initial application review involving institution(s) from three healthcare clusters: S$5,000 

Please refer to Annex A for a list of institutions under the respective healthcare clusters.

Additionally, we have updated the following review fees:

• Amendment: S$300

• Addition of each cluster institution(s): S$1,000

• Study renewal or reactivation: S$1,000

All fees are subject to prevailing GST.

Please also note that the review fees should be paid and proof of payment should be included at the time of submission. Refer to Annex B for the details.

Annex B: Payment Information

Effective 1st April 2025, DSRB review fees for industry sponsored studies are required to be paid at the time of submission. This measure is implemented to prevent delays in issuing decision letters due to pending payments.

Please attach the proof of payment in the 'Other Attachments' section of the Application, Amendment and Study Status Report Forms.

When making payment, include ‘DSRB [ECOS Form Reference Number]’ in the transaction details, e.g. DSRB 2023-1000-APP1.

An invoice would be issued to acknowledge receipt of the review fee and would be sent to the contact person listed in the CRMS>IRB Review Fees Billing Details.
